Dr. Goigodagamage Bandula is appointed as Chairman of the Hector Kobbekaduwa Agrarian Research and Training Institute (HARTI)

Dr. Goigodagamage Bandula has been appointed as Chairman of the Agrarian Research and Training Institute by the Minister of Agriculture, Wildlife and Forest Resources Conservation, Mahinda Amaraweera with effect from today (20). HARTI is an institute operating under this Ministry.

He has obtained PhD in Agriculture from the University of Ruhuna and read for Msc. (Agriculture) in UK. Mr.Bandula is a BSc, (Agriculture) degree holder of the University of Ruhuna.

He has been a member of Governing Bodies of several institutions including Authority for Tea Smallholdings, Maga Neguma, National Food Promotion Board, State Plantation Corporation and Tea Research Institution.

His appointment has been approved by the Presidential Committee on Appointments of Officers to Higher Posts.
