Introduction

Welcome to the Agriculture Development Division, a core branch of the Ministry and directly works with the Department of Agriculture to modernizing Sri Lanka’s agricultural landscape, empowering local farming communities and ensuring national food security. Our division works closely with provincial authorities, district directors, and local institutions to build a resilient and self-reliant agricultural sector.

The development division will provide grants and program activities in the year 2018 are as follows.
