The Progress Review Meeting of the Department of Agrarian Development was held at the Ministry of Land under the patronage of Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation, K.D. Lalkantha.
The Progress Review Meeting of the Department of Agrarian Development was held yesterday (30th ) at the Ministry of Land under the patronage of Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation, K.D. Lalkantha, with the participation of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Livestock Namal Karunaratne.
During the meeting, the manner in which the ‘Eka Mitta – Govi Bimata’ national program was implemented during this year and its progress were discussed. In particular, the District Agrarian Commissioners informed the Minister about the problems faced when implementing the relevant projects.
The Minister expressed his views on this occasion.
