Admin & Transport

Mainly this Division co-coordinate administrative and establishment matter of the Department of Agriculture and 07 statutory institution operating under the Ministry of Agriculture. In addition all activities relating to transport, supply of computer facilities and other related functions of the Ministry are also performed by this Division. 

01.Matter relating to the Ministry of Agriculture
  • Taking action on letter sent by the presidential secretariat and the prime Minister’s office.
  • Establishment and administrative matters of District Directors of Agriculture.
  • Personal files and administrative/establishment matters of Assistant Director (Fertilizer),NFS
  • Various function related to liquidated Marketing Development Dept. and Janatha Ferrtilizer enterprise.
  • Conducting programs under Miscellanies program unit of the Ministry

Transport Division

  • Matters relating to vehicle repairs, periodical servicing, fuel supply and obtaining of insurance covers revenue licenses for Ministry vehicles.
  • Overtime, travelling expenses and Driver’s training
  • Assigning of official vehicles required for Hon.Minister, Hon.State Minister, Hon.Deputy Minister and their staff and officials of the Ministry who are entitled to this facility and providing transport facilities for Ministry officials for various duties.
